Day 1: Arrival to the National Park Torres del Paine – Hike to Serón
Start early in the morning to have a day trek into the heart of the Torres del Paine National Park. After breakfast, get your lunch box and get ready for a day of mountain scenery of patagonia. Walks in the midst of barren landscapes and along the shore of the wonderful blue waters of lago Skottsberg.
After approximately 2.5 hours of walking you will reach the campsite Italian, where it begins to ascend towards the valley. It rises through the vast rocky terrain, and follows the edge of the top of trees until you reach the viewpoint French, where you'll be rewarded with breathtaking views of the Horns, lagoons, glaciers, turquoise and wonderful hanging glaciers that fall in the form of cascades by the east face of cerro Paine Grande (3.050 m).
If you're lucky, you'll hear the roar of the water and ice to fall! It is also a point where it is common to observe avalanches. This is the ideal time to take some pictures and enjoy the lunch box. Return by the same path back to the campsite Italian and then continue our way to Shelter French or refugio Los Cuernos. Relax for the evening and enjoy a delicious dinner at the refuge that you've chosen.
Day 2: Walk to Dickson
Today begins the long trek through hills, undulating and moist vegas to the interior of the park. Snow-covered mountains, lakes, blue pastel, and large expanses of grassland will be the backdrop to explore the north side of the park, in addition to the astounding and breathtaking views of the glacier Dickson, the cerro Cuba and other rugged peaks that marks the border between Chile and Argentina. Once you reach the area of Dickson, make your check in and during the afternoon you can make a walk along the stony shore of the lake Dickson, all of this before the dinner in the shelter.
Day 3: Hike to The Dogs
Today, the walk will be held in the most remote of the park, in the middle of a lush green vegetation. You can feel the wind blowing in the middle of the bushes and listening to the pleasant sound of birds magellanic woodpeckers. The walk along the river with The Dogs, it goes up by a large moraine where you'll be breathless when you see another scenic mountain as a backdrop, the glacier Dogs and its lagoon blue / green color. It continues for a trail rocky before you get to the campsite Dogs, that will be the accommodation for this night. It is recommended to rest, the next day will be long.
Day 4: Hike to Grey going through the Step-John Garner
Take a breath and get ready for the most demanding day of the circuit Paine, but at the same time, one of the most rewarding. After breakfast early in the barbecue and apply for your lunch box, you'll start to make your way by gnarled roots of the tree, and big puddles of mud, under the green canopy of the trees. Coming out of the forest begin to ascend by weathered rocks and loose (sometimes snow) until you reach the highest point of the circuit, the famous Paso John Garner (1,200 m.s.n.m).
Enveloped by the strong patagonian winds while you impresionas with the Southern Ice Fields, and their wonderful carpet shining, the descent is made on the side of a wall, giant ice and the trail continues for the campsite Step, where there is an advanced ranger. Then, you cross by exciting suspension bridges before reaching the shelter Grey for dinner and a well deserved rest.

Day 5: Hike to Paine Grande
Enjoy breakfast on shelter Grey before you begin to marvel at most spectacular landscapes of the Southern Ice Fields and icebergs from the lago Grey (don't forget to order your box lunch!). A walk in ascending a mountain forest until you reach the, sometimes very windy viewpoint of the Grey glacier. Continue the walk until you reach the lagoon of The Ducks, where you begin the descent down a narrow and windy valley that leads directly to the refugio Paine Grande.
Day 6: Exploring the French Valley

Day 7: Trek to Refugio Central.
Independent if you start the hike from refugio Los Cuernos, or from Refugio French, you open up step by creeks, pristine, admiring the hanging glaciers of mount Almirante Nieto (2.670 mts) and you'll be able to search for condors while you are skirting mesas and the alluring waters blue – green of the lake Nordenskjöld. Follows the path is well signposted until you get to the Retreat Center, where you can relax during the afternoon.
Day 8: Trek to Base Towers – Return to Puerto Natales
The hike begins today by the Valle Ascencio, enjoying its extensive forests. During the final ascent, through a vast field of giant boulders, until you get to one of the viewpoints, the most emblematic of the world, the famous mirador Base Torres. At a height of 900 m.s.n.m, marvel at the 3 towers (north, central, and south) of the granite and the brilliant lake glacier brilliant turquoise to your feet.
This is the ideal time to take photographs, and enjoy your box lunch before returning by the same path, now costs down, to refugio Torre Central, and the Welcome Center. At 19:00 hrs for you to make the transfer “The Towers” who is heading to Laguna Amarga to connect with the regular bus 19:45 who is heading to Puerto Natales. The time of arrival in puerto Natales is 21:30 hrs.
