4 Days / 3 nights Paine essential

Day 1: Puerto Natales – Hostel Factory.

Arrival to Puerto Natales and free day.

Accommodation: Hostal Factory.

Day 2: Full Day Torres del Paine Pan.

We will depart from your place of accommodation in Puerto Natales with destination to Villa Cerro Castillo, located 59 kilometers in direction north. The journey up until this point is about 45 minutes ideal amount of time to discuss and interpret the diversity of landscapes with abundant presence of magellanic forest, valleys, glacial, mountain ranges and lakes at the edge of the path.

If the weather allows, we will be able to see the presence of condors in one of the many nesting areas existing along the route. The itinerary continues towards the mirador del Lago Sarmiento, first pause photo with view towards the Cordillera Paine, from here and with good weather conditions, it will be possible to have a first panoramic view of the entire mountain range in Torres del Paine, the extension to the south of the Cordillera of the Andes and the awe-inspiring Lake Sarmiento.

After this break we will go direction towards a site of great importance to being one of the most shocking front of the towers of granite. The place described above corresponds to the viewpoint of Laguna Amarga, habitat choice of flamingos who often found on this site, the suitable conditions for their food. The route continues toward the main entrance to the Torres del Paine National Park where we will do the registration of our access tickets to continue with the itinerary. The following viewpoints to visit will be Nordenskjöld Lake, Mirador Salto Grande, Mirador Pehoé, Bridge Weber, Rio Paine and Lago Grey.

On this last point we will have time for lunch (service not included in the fee) and walk on the environment if it is the weather conditions. We will return to the vehicle to continue the journey out of the National Park Torres del Paine national park on the southern section.

Our latest arrest in front of Torres del Paine will be in the place more stunning And path-290 called Mirador Grey. From here, it will be possible to observe the set of mountains that dominate the area to the west of the province, the huge Lake Toro and if the weather condition allows it, also a section of the Grey glacier.

Day 3: Full Day In The Base Of The Towers.

One of the activities not to miss in Patagonia. A path between forests, rivers, bushes, and rock to achieve one of the most sought-after in a demanding hike of approximately 9 hours, covering a total of 24 km

Our trip will start at 06:30hrs in the summer months (07:00hrs in winter time) from Puerto Natales. We will continue by car to the northern sector of the park, arriving at the access called Laguna Amarga. On this site, we will do the due registration with our entrance tickets and then continue to the starting point of the activity located in Reserva Cerro Paine.

At this point we will work to prepare our team and receive the instructions of the guide in charge of the group. Our guide will explain the proper use of trekking poles as well as the installation of crampons and gaiters if necessary. These last items are considered to winter time in case of presence of snow and ice on the trail. The first hour and 30 minutes will be a steady climb, with some areas of inclination less and low vegetation to get to the “Step of the Wind”, from here we begin our descent approximate 30 minutes to Refugio Chileno for a short break.

The journey continues for 1 hour between lenga forests, in parallel to the Ascencio river, river to cross at various points, and that will accompany us during great part of the tour.

The last section has a slope of 300 meters and a terrain-challenged with rocks and something of the forest in the first 25 minutes. The final stretch is a trail exposed without vegetation, in a more loose and with a view to the final section of the valley, gaining altitude quickly. Once the objective is met, in front of the imposing towers, we will take the time to eat, take pictures and admire. The descent and return of the vehicle is performed by the same path.

Day 4: Puerto Natales

Enjoy a delicious breakfast at the inn Factory. According to the schedule of your flight you can visit the city and do some shopping.

Restrictions and recommendations

If possible, get in fly direct to Puerto Natales. In the case of not being possible, to take flight
arriving in the morning at Punta Arenas.
Trekking is not recommended for children under 14 years of age.

  • Con menos de 44 días corridos antes del inicio del programa no se realizan reembolsos.
  • En caso de No Show no se realizarán devoluciones.
  • Con respecto a las entradas al Parque Nacional Torres del Paine, al ser compradas a
    una entidad externa que no permite realizar modificaciones de fechas, nombres y
    tampoco anulaciones, el valor de éstas no serán reembolsadas en ningún caso.

  • Con menos de 44 días corridos antes del inicio del programa no se realizan reembolsos.
  • En caso de No Show no se realizarán devoluciones.
  • Con respecto a las entradas al Parque Nacional Torres del Paine, al ser compradas as
    una entidad externa que no permite realizar modificaciones de fechas, nombres y
    tampoco anulaciones, el valor de éstas no serán reembolsadas en ningún caso.

Pago:

  •  20% del total del programa será solicitado para confirmar la reserva dentro de
    los 20 días posteriores al envío de la confirmación de la reserva por parte del
    ejecutivo.
  • El 80% restante deberá ser pagado hasta 70 días antes del inicio del programa,
    que es además la fecha límite para realizar cambios en la reserva.
  • Las reservas realizadas con menos de 69 días antes del inicio del programa
    deberán ser pagadas en su totalidad (100%) dentro de los próximos 5 días
    hábiles de haber sido confirmada por el ejecutivo. Recibido el pago no se
    podrán realizar cambios ni anulaciones.

 

En caso de anulación:

  • Las reservas son nominativas y no transferibles.
  • 90 días antes del inicio del programa o más, devolución del 100%.
  • Entre 89 y 70 días antes del inicio del programa, la multa será del 20%.
  • Entre 69 y 45 días antes del inicio del programa, se reembolsará el 50% de lo
  • 44 días antes del inicio del programa o menos, no habrá reembolso.
  • En caso de No Show no se realizarán devoluciones.
  • Con respecto a las entradas al Parque Nacional Torres del Paine, al ser compradas a
    una entidad externa que no permite realizar modificaciones de fechas, nombres y
    tampoco anulaciones, el valor de éstas no serán reembolsadas
