The Tatio geysers are located 1.5 hours from San Pedro de Atacama. We will leave the village early in the morning to visualize the boiling point of maximum reach more than 80 geysers assets that are in this place. The field geothermal largest in the southern hemisphere, and one of the largest in the world. Subsequently, at the exit of the park we will stop in front of a bofedal (peat) where you can appreciate the flora and fauna typical of the area, while we have breakfast. Then we will continue with the wetland of Putana, where you can see one of the active volcanoes of the area, the volcano Putana. Finally, we stop at the wetland of Machuca to visit flamingo before returning to the village.
Recommendations
Go with warm clothes (long trousers, jacket, gloves, hat, scarf). Bring sunscreen, sunglasses, hat, 1L ½ of water per person.
